Christine is a Midwest girl that began her real estate education well before obtaining her first real estate license. She worked for her father's real estate appraisal firm from a young age. The ability to help families to start or build upon their family wealth led to her earning her Illinois Realtors® license in 1991. She continues to be mentored by her father who holds an MAI and SRA through the Appraisal Institute, a Broker's license and is a Realtor® Emeritus.

Throughout her real estate career, Christine has relied on her extensive travel and exposure to cultures around the world to assist buyers moving into and out of the United States. Early in her career helping families from Mexico and Honduras work through the home buying process to relocating to Texas and helping clients from all over the world. As one of a select group of Certified International Property Specialists in the world, Christine has established a relationship with global agencies to ensure her clients always had the best buying experience both in Texas and abroad. Christine thrives on being a caregiver and connector in the real estate world.

Today, Christine Wren is the Global Liaison, Special Programs Lead for the Austin Board of REALTORS® to expand and develop global programming to best serve the Central Texas region.

She has earned some of the most prestigious designations and certifications in the real estate industry including:

Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS)
Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI)
Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR)
Green Designation (GREEN)
Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA)
At Home with Diversity (AHWD)
Texas Realtors® Leadership Program (TRLP)

On a personal note
One of Christine’s passions is promoting the benefits of pet-therapy with her 130 pound Berner Sennenhund named Briggs. The pet-effect benefits are greatest among vulnerable populations such as children, the elderly, and the socially isolated, chronically ill or handicapped. The volunteer in many places, however, each week Briggs and Christine visit Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas.

In October 2018, Christine made the decision to join Coldwell Banker United, Realtors® to better serve her clients both domestically and internationally. Christine now resides in the city-center of Austin, Texas with her husband and "Swiss Ambassador", Briggs, the Bernese Mountain Dog.
